2012 has been an eventful year so far.
New Years day, my nephew Fletcher Langston Hughes was brought into this world. Who’d have thought how absolutely smitten I’d be? The adventures we will have together!
A couple days later, I get cut off on the highway and swerve out of the way and fishtail through two lanes, hit an embankment, and flip my car three times down a hill. I walk away without a scratch. My car however, totaled. I thank my lucky stars that I was wearing my seatbelt and also for parents that care enough to drive up the very next day to purchase a new one.
I can’t help but wonder what else this year has in store for me.
A few things for certain. A move. A promotion. And oh yeah, JCB. <3
